Misson Statement

At Snug Harbor we understand that recovery is hard work so we have regular house meetings to stay focused, discuss issues and build community. Everyone is required to work a 12 step program with a sponsor and attend regular NA/AA meetings. Recovery isn’t for people who need it, but for people who want it, and Snug Harbor helps you achieve that one day at a time. Here at Snug Harbor we refer to our time here as ‘Adulting’. We encourage each other to experience positive living sobriety by becoming productive members of society. We all do household chores, attend full or part time work, manage our finances and volunteer as a group to give back to our community. Recently we have been volunteering at the Sober Living Coalition to feed the homeless in the park. Jeff is a certified drug and alcohol specialist with certifications 1 & 2 in alcohol and other drug studies. At Snug Harbor, we offer peer counseling in drug and alcohol issues from an empirical position. Having learned many hard lessons in life, Jeff Collins is the ultimate life coach to help guide you to the right path in finding sustained, prosperous recovery. Snug Harbor Sober Living is also a member of the Riverside County Coalition of Sober Living. Acquiring these training courses and certificates enables us to better help you develop the tools you need for a life in recovery.
